The Rider and the Driver

About me?

I’m happy to say that for over 30 years horses have been an inspiring part of my life. I  have participated in the many forms of equine sports, as well as enjoying horses from yearlings to the show ring.

As for my professional life, I’ll simply say I’ve conquered a fair number of mountains, enjoyed success and hated failures. I retired early, leaving behind the suits, briefcases and my ambitious climb to fame.

I’m now doing what I love best … enjoying my horses and observing all the amazing things that surround me.

So far, the ride has been Simply Marvelous !

  8. Simply Marvelous,
Thank you for leaving a wonderful comment on my blog,Grey Horse Matters. I have checked out your site and love it. I will be a frequent visitor, so many interesting things to read about. So sorry about Ebony, I know how you feel, as I lost my guy in April after 15 years of loving companionship. Someday I will write a memorial to him, but for now he lives on in my heart. Happy New Year.

  13. I envy you. I myself retired early and moved from Western New York to Dickson,Tennessee, bought up some land, now have three horses. I have discovered the mystique of the horse, learning something from them every day, understanding them more and more every day, and photographing them as often as I can. I have photographed parts of Australia,China,France,Spain, and some of the USA and I seek out horses and horse owners every place I go. I am so impressed with your photography and your web site is … well … uh … simply marvelous!
Staying busy 10-20 hours a day with horses isn’t like work, it’s like love.
