    She talks more!

  2. She is a phenominal rider!

    ~~~
    Callie,
    I don’t think Stacy moves an inch off the back of that horse. And what a horse!
  3. That’s pretty darn cool. I just learned that one of my horse show friend’s mother was a famous trick rider in her day. Can’t believe I’ve known this woman this long and I’m just finding something like that out. LOL
    ~~~
    Rising Rainbow …
    I imagine your friend’s mother has stories to tell about her trick-riding days! Hope you find out a few of them and pass them on to us on your great blog site.

  4. Wow, Kudos to Stacey and I want that horse!

    ~~~
    Michele,
    I was thinking the same thing about wanting that horse! Looks like I’ll have to take a number!
  5. I have had horse’s in my early years.To see her ride a horse like that it brought tears to my eyes. To see the bond with horse and rider. Thank you for letting this old man see that.
    ~~~
    Hi Anthony,
    Sure brought tears to my eyes, too !!

    • UNBELIEVABLE! I’ve watched this video at least 10 times and everytime it gives me chills. What a team.

  6. Isn’t she something! Amazing and such an inspiration!

  7. Amazing, amazing. Watching her ride is breathtaking!

  8. You are really something !!
    I use to ride my horse with nothing on as a kid, but haven’t tried it lately. I may give it a try again. It is so nice to see someone connect with horses like you do..
    Keep up the great work
    Becky

  9. It brought tears to my eyes. Such a connection between horse and rider. What trust and skill!!!

  10. I cried through the video in Honor of your Father – I can’t tell you how touched I am by your love for your horse & relationship you must have. Both so trusting.
    I started riding when I was 8 years old to 23 – Do not have horses now at 62 but still ride and am doing lessons for both granddaughters.

    God Bless you and your family

    ~~~
    Sally,
    That is terrific! Great you are riding and passing your talents on to your granddaughters!
    • Your video touched deep in my soul.You are FANtASTiC! I cried right from the intro. I lost both my Mom and Dad, and I cry and think about how much I wish they were still here with me.Very TOUCHING!
      Betty
  11. Dear Stacy, I was very impressed to see the way you handled that horse and the tribute to your dad was awesome. God bless you from Teri Ryon
  12. WOW! I have been riding all my life and working with my horse everyday, but never have gotten anywhere close to what you have. Thats amazing, good job.
  13. It was an inspiring video to watch, you and Baby Doll. I’m sure it brought tears to a lot of people who watched it live and the video. You will go a long way, Stacey, sorry about your Dad, but death is for the living; to realize just how precious life is. Good luck at what ever you do. Joe Maltby, So. Dak.
  14. My husband sent me the video of Stacy and Wizard from his work. When I downloaded it I had cold chills..it was such a great video! It brought tears to my eyes. The unity they shared was God confirming..you could see they both love what they do. I work at a vet that does horse rescue and I have had horses of my own. You’ve inspired me beyond words to have patience and be diligence. I hope someday I too have a relationship with them that you do with Wizard. Thank you so much, Ashley from Spencer, Indiana.
  15. Such a blessing to have a special gift — good job and thanks for sharing. So much trust and respect between the two of you is just priceless — anybody can do it if they want to. I’m 42 years young and will ride till I die.
  16. Thanks for this beautiful video of you and your horse!! I have loved horses forever but never was able to get lessons beyond the basics. I saw your video on Ellen today and it led me here. I cannot say enough about how it made me feel. The committment and bond between a human and an animal has not been recognized completely until your video proof. I think lots of little girls and boys will be asking for horse-back riding lessons now!! Bless you. Kathye from Maryland
  17. What an unbelievably good horse!
    I’ve been riding for over 12 years now, and both my best friend and my horse passed away recently, so this was especially touching for me.
    God Bless!
    ~~~
    Hello Kate,
    Sorry about your loss. It is very difficult to let go. We can only hang on to the memories.

  18. I do reining myself and that was inpressive, I could never do anything like that. My mom can spin without her bridle to me that was impressive but what you did was really awsome.

  19. Stacy,
    I would like to see you ride how would I get a video of your ride?

    ~~~
  22. Hi Stacy,
    I saw your video as well on Ellen and you are AMAZING I used to show horses in my younger years and was truly touched by your tribute to your dad. Your skills are truly a GOD given talent. I’m sorry for your loss.
    Sincerely,
    Kim
  23. Stacy, your loving connection with your horse gives me the chills. I am 52, grew up in NYC and found horseback riding/horses at the age of 46. The connection between a fleeting thought and its translation to your horse never ceases to amaze me. You’re inspiring!
  24. Stacey, I lost my father this past summer and he taught me about horses and the cowboy life it was sad to see him go but I know I will see him again as you will see your father also. God bless and keep up the good work.
  25. I’m from Belgium and your video was sent to me by mail. It is so amazing and beautiful!!
    Wish you good luck and enjoy the love of te horses.
  26. Stacey,
    I have been around horses most of my life and have never seen anything as amazing as the relationship between you and that horse. Talk about magic. I cried watching the two of you and am very sorry for the loss of your Dad. From what I can see he is with you every step of the way. You are an inspiration beyond words. People say these animals are dumb!!! I am sorry, only people can be dumb. Keep doing what you are doing and god bless you!! I have a baby girl who I hope could be 1/4 like you someday!! BRAVO!
  27.   28. YOU TWO ARE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH.LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN BURBANK.
  29. Thank you for publishing your video. Like it has for me, I am sure it will change and influence lives. It is awesomelly strange how something like this makes a ripple effect and will help others.
  30. Stacy, I have been around horses my whole life. Me and my family do show jumping, and never in my life have I see anything like that. The relationship between you and your horse is magical, and I thought me and my horses get along great.
    Watching that video has inspired me.
  31. Stacy today I saw you on the Ellen show. A fluke, as I’m not usually home during the day. You are truly an inspiration. I can hardly wait until my daughter gets home from school (University)today to show her your site and the video. My daughter is 19 and was born with cerebral palsy. She is a bright young women, with a positive attitude and believes “she can achieve whatever she wants, all as she has to do is try”. She began therapeutic horseback riding at 18 months old and continues to this day. She too believes that you can have a very unique and special bond with your horse. Through her communication and connection with the horse while riding she gains so much. When she was 5 and learning how to trot, she once said “mommy this feels like I am up running”! Amazing feeling for someone who primarly uses a wheelchair for mobility. For a mom who is not a horsewomen, except to support her daughter over the years with her riding, thank you for sharing your story with others. My daughter will be thrilled to hear and see what you have achieved…..Sandy
  32. You are such a talented person… I have rode horses my whole life… I can’t beleive you can do that. WOW!!! I love riding horses… I am getting my medical taken care of here in MAnteca, Ca. Then i am movin back to Nevada to pursue my career and get me a nice horse and to continue doing what i love, riding horses!!!!! I hope in the near future you come to Reno, NV. I would love to see you do you what you do best. I would even like to meet you. You are so amazing. I watched you on the Ellen show too….. AMAZING!!!!! Keep doing what you do best…. You are a very special person….
  33. I love your video. It makes me cry every time I watch it. You hae such a great story. I had a mare given to me. The lady said she was crazy. Well she was abused at an english barn. So my mom let me have her. We got her for free. I am 25 now. I was 12 then. I bred her to help her calm down. Everything went great. I didn’t ride for about 2 years. Then one Friday night I decided to get on and ride. The next day i went to a horseshow in Fallon, NV and placed 2nd out of 32 people. I was so excited, I was crying and everything. It is the best feeling in the world!!!!
  34. She’s such an amazing rider. I wish I could ride like that. That horse and her have so much trust in each other. It is incredable.
  35. Hi Stacy ,
    I also, like the others, cry when I watch your video.
    I am not only amazed by your riding skills, but the willingness of your horse to follow your cues. I saw you on Ellen today.I hope your appearance encourages others to experience the thrill of riding.
    I just started riding at age 61. I am in lessons on a weekly basis and love every minute of the time I am with the horse. Now my 8 year old granddaughter is taking lessons at my lesson barn.
    Your video inspires me to try harder to become a better rider. I look forward to seeing you at Equine Affaire in Columbus this April.
    God bless what you do for the world of equestrians.
    Jan
  36. I wish I was YOU. I look up to you. I wish I had a life like YOU. I dont even have a horse. Please email me.
  37. Years ago I used to ride, so I can appreciate how many hours you have spent to make that spectacular ride look so easy. You are an inspiration to so many horse lovers. I hope your son inherits the unique bond with horses that you so obviously have. But Roxy is also a special, once-in-a-lifetime horse.
  38. Wow! I think you are amazing! And I wish I could ride like you. My quarter horse, Natalie, and I love to spend time together. We practice reining and I take her out on small trails. Her favorite thing to do is explore and dig in sand piles. She is my best friend.
  39. Wow. Awesome. Amazing.
    That horse would follow you anywhere. That’s a bond the rest of us can only dream of.
    Congratulations!
  40. Thats what I want to do when I grow up!
  43. Hi
  48. That was remarkable. I have owned horses at different times throughout my life and have seen some unbelievable equine feats but the smooth and clean connection between you and your horse is just extraordinary.The bridle less riding you have accomplished is truly beautiful you have taken my breath away..
  49. Thats Good. I’ve Saw it in Rodeos But not very often. I ride my horse and I am able to stand up on her back and ride her like that. She is Blind in one eye, so When I have her canter, she tends to take off towards the right. She is very pretty and only had 30 days training and she is A Very Good Horse for me.
  60. WOW! you are so… good at riding im a pretty good rider. I can walk , trot and canter but I just have a nervous block and I find it dificult to ride confidently. I was wondering if someone can give me some advice on how I can gain my confidence?
    thanx!
    • Here is some advice you have to trust your horse on the ground, on their back, and in your mind. Also it’s good to do one thing a day that scares you. Life’s not easy so take chances, and life your life.
  61. WOW YOU ARE TH BEST RIDER IVE EVER SEEN!
    I AM 12 YEARS OLD AND IM A GOOD RIDER BUT IM LACKING IN CONFIDENCE. I CAN WALK TROT AND SOMETIMES CANTER BUT I HAVE A NERVOUS BLOCK LIKE THE OTHER KID WHO WROTE ABOVE MY COMMENT. Are you and Jessee getting married? I have the picture of you both off the coast of Nova Scotia. Good luck in everything you do. J.M.
  63. Stacey,
    Will we ever be able to watch the ‘bareback’ video again? I sent a friend to your website and she informed me the video was n/a. This breaks my heart. It is the most inspiring video ever.
    BTY, I recommended it to a jillion people when it came out!
    Warm regards,
    Karenina J Hinton
    Kerrville, TX
    ~~~
    Hi Karenina,
    Hope it is working now!

  64. You are amazing im even doing my speech on you!

  65. The earliest religous disappointment in a young girls life, is the unanswered prayer for a horse.” Your prayers, and more, were answered. Altho much affection, and Blessings are sent your way for the loss of your Dad. I am coming 77 years old, and have ridden as far back as I can recall. I have never seen such grace, beauty and two being so in tune with one another. I must first acknowledge that. Knowing how difficult it is to stay aboard a bare back horse that is in a gallop,such as you did, reminded me of how actually hard the horse’s back becomes. Being just an observer now, I enjoy watching “communions” such as you have with your horses. No, I’ts not just training, you are communing.
    BTW. I was doing Pat Parelli, before Pat was born. Never fully knowing why I did the things the way I did, when to do them. I just knew it worked.Pass all your beautiful knowledges on to others, Keep nothing back. The world needs more beautiful minded people like you. The world has gotten to be such a cruel and violent place these days, for those who have no voices, or choices. I hope that all you touch in your life are golden. Sometime, I would like to send you some poems about my last, and best friend. My old Paint mare. jane

  66. The 1st time I saw this video I could “feel” that horse under me. I could feel every muscle under me and every twitch that horse had.I miss riding so much.
    Ive watched the video time and time again and get the same feeling over and over…yah I cry LOL.
    I always rode bareback…I couldnt ride with a saddle and I always wanted to (laughin)
    Thank you Stacy.Your so awesome with your buddie.
    Susan : )))

  67. mrs.stacey i would have to say you are my idol….. when i saw your bareback video i was wishing and hoping one day that will be me! you are amazing!
    your friend,
    victoria

  68. Stacey:

    I had horses and all rode and showed almost all of my life.

    I keep your video on my computer so that I am able to watch your brideless ride whenrever I want.

    It is truly amazing anf never fails to bring tears to my eyes.

    I don’t have my horses (Quarterhorses) anymore and probably won’t ever have them again.

    I just have my dogs, Jack Russells, and love them so much. One of them (Fuzzie) is asleep right now on my desk as I type this.

    Thanks so much for your video!!!

    Rosemary Westphal

  69. Stacy,

    I want to thank you for being open and sharing, your amazing ability with horses, with the world. Your videos inspire us and the girls that attend our camp. I hope that we will continue to see more of you online for years to come. I could only dream of being as good a trainer as you are proven to be!

    Amber

  70. wonderful !! it is the best dream we can have with horses !

  71. Stacey you brought back memories of what i could do on ponies, not horses but since I saw you, I was living at my parents, mom had a stroke, and dad talked me into getting a horse. I didn’t think I could handle one and my mother but my neighbor gave me one kind of lame. I fell in love. Dad started talking about the work i was doing and how well my mother was getting and I could still take care of the horse, he talked me into getting more till I had myself a herd but no time to ride, he had promised me his home and land after they past so i was taking care of them 24/7 thinking someday I would have a little mini farm.
    She got well once spring, after years of taking care of both of them, I had to go home to husband and sone and go in hospital get ulcers cauterised and tyroid checked they said it was too high.
    So I had several hospitalizations when I got back my horses were gone, my tack, my cloths, everything perceived as having anything to do with me was sold, given away, or just thrown in the trash.
    I went back home and didn’t understand what had happened. They informed me they took the will out of my name and gave to my sisters. I wasn’t getting anything, Not even the 6th I would have if I had never gone. It was like my mind was a computer and it just went down. I tried to talk to my family but my father had told them bizarre things like I was trying to kill him , he had a stomach ache once 5 months ago after one of the thousands of dinners I’d made them. That was the only thing he told me the rest are all like secrets that my sisters won’t tell me because they know it’s rediculous but they’re profiting off it, I am an RN. What more could anyone want? A real RN who loves their parents taking care of them, tho their acting like they’re jealous although my father gives me so much grief it’s unbearable. WhenIm not there I hear he says that he acts like the sun sets and rises on me. But he had a hate campaign on me for the two years he thought I left him when I was sick. Plus that is just something he always does, the whole time I was there, dragging mom around, he’d run up ahead of us and tell the people about his daughter who has her doctorate in engineering, (not me) the one he campaingns with.
    I miss my mommy and my horses. I’ll never have the one simple things I had wanted. I told my husband 10 years ago that there was nothing going to be left but the land. People owning land right now are going to be the future wealthy And of course he never listens to me. I feel like such a failure then I saw you’re video and it brought me back to life, I could do that once (on ponies) and losing the love and respect of mydad when we were so close, Stac believe me,it could have been worse. We shared love of animals, art, humor,inexplicable little things. (me AND Dad) and this senility, or alzheimers, whatever it is, has destroyed our relationship forever, I still love him and know it’s the disease but you know how a horse is almost like your own child. Him getting rid of them without telling me and I bought them, he even told me one of them “I needed a ‘forever horse; “and I knew it would be her, a pretty tobiano paint filly I watched her after she was born oh she ran like the wind and she was always giving her mother a hard time curious about everything. Iknew she was the one long before I ever believed one day I’d have her. I hAD HER FOR A YEAR AND A HALF TAUGHT HER LOTS OF THINGs, I don’t know If I’m campaigning for help for alheimers or horse posse’s. All I know is you’re riding lit a holy spirit light in my that hadn’t been there in along time and needed it;s lampshade taken off. I thank you. I prayer for your dad and for you not to have to grieve severely.. Thank you for sharing yourself with us !!!

  72. I greatly admire you! For I am 16 years old and have horse I have had since I was 8. My horse is now 11, and we have a wonderful bond together. I just really want to get her to be ridden bridle less.Soon, I hope to buy your DVD’s and get to training. Just wanted to say thank you for being so good for me to watch and more!

  73. All I can say is your ride is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

  74. Hi… I went to Horsefest in Springfield in March and watched you. I admire you so much, Stacy. In fifth grade, we had to write a magazine in computer class. I had an imaginary interview with you in that thing! But really, Stacy, you were amazing. I loved listening to your stories. And it’s another real talent to be able to tie everything to what you are trying to get across! A few weeks ago, Dennis Reis came to Springfield. He was pretty cool, and I enjoyed watching him try to get that Mustang ears on the right track, but for some reason, your seminar seemed to capture me a bit more than his…
    Thanks for reading and I hope you write back!
    Hannah

  75. I watch this video again and again it not only inspires me, it’s also quite a tribut to your father and your family. Your amazing. Thank you.

  76. Wow, Stacy you left tears in my eyes. My girls used to show quarter horses for over 15 years, but unfortunately due to the economy they just can’t afford it anymore, but we still have two reiners in our back yard as pets, and watching your video reminded me of the old times and all of our trips to the Congress…you are awesome, keep up with all of your wonderful rides, and of course our wonderful horses, as always a quarter horse!

  77. Just magic . . . Thank you. I am not a horse person, (I love and raise cattle) but am a great admirer of what can be accomplished when you put your trust in an animals ability to understand us, and our ability to understand them and what we desire of them. Our ability to treat them with respect and learn their “language” allows us to perform “miracles”. Your ability is matched by your horses ability, both of you understand each other. This is the magic. Congratulations.

  78. I watch your videos every day and every time they just make me want to go and ride a horse. i have been around horses my entire life. so i just want to say that you are amazing and very inspirational:)

  79. I’m only eleven but I’ve never seen anything like you.You are awesome. It is AMAZING the way you can ride bridleless and bareback and not fall off.
    WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!

I wish I could do what you can do it’s amazing. The bond you have with the horse. It’s just to good to be true.
    I’m only 14 years old
    from Ontario

  82. YOU ARE THE HORSE WHISPERER WITHOUT A DOUBT. YOU ARE THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN AND IF YOU EVER GET DOWN IN FL, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU RIDE.

  83. i love her and her horses they r well obeyed and well trained her dad would have been proud and blessed to have a most amazing daughter. she loves her horses like no one less does but i think my horse not could be trained. but it could happen

    RIP Rozy.

  86. Wow Stacy, What an inspiration. You have shown a violent world an insight into Love understanding and communication which leaves me in tears of ineptitude. Thankyou.XXXX

  87. Hallo Stacey
    Everytime I watch you I fight the tears. Your bond with one of God’s most incredible creatures is mind blowing. Horsemanship on a level I thought impossible. Thank you for inspiring me and showing that there is always a next level-whowever good one thinks one is. This is my favourite video of all time. Thank you, Johan Gouws, South Africa

  88. How wonderful. Thank you for sharing this wonderful talent. Stacy and Roxy are beautifully symbiotic in their performances. I loved it so much I went and looked for more, where I quickly learned of Roxy’s passing. The loss of Roxy is a tragedy…yes happy it happened but can’t help to be sad for the loss.
